Gasp!!

Guess what I (and my family and friends) just saw?! You will never guess. Okay, maybe you would, but I'll go ahead and tell you. We all just saw two baby foxes in our backyard. They were way too small and young to be able to jump over our fence, so we're guessing they live under the shed in our backyard.

They were walking around just a few feet away from us and, when we went inside, they started exploring the porch. We didn't see the mom or dad, but didn't really want to know where they were. ;) Note to self: that's why I put Remy up before dark. ;) Okay, I am so rambling now, so I better go before you fall asleep. :)

They looked just like this one, only a little smaller probably. C-U-T-E!

Good night to all my bloggy friends!

Right Now...

My sister is sewing.

The rest of my family's watching The Fellowship of the Ring (extended edition) ;)

I'm listening to the Love Comes Softly theme. ;)

I'm thinking about how I can't wait for the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks to get here. I gave Mom the money and she ordered them for me off of Amazon. :D

~

Okay now that ya'll know what's going on around here right now, I'll tell y'all what I've been doing lately. I bet you're so excited! lol. jk ;)

1. I got my braces off last Tuesday. Yippee! I'm so happy! :)

2. I've been reading about the new POTC movie they're making. It's supposed to come out May 20, 2011. I don't think it will be as good as the others, but I still hope we can go see it! :)

3. I'm reading The Swiss Family Robinson. I've been needing to read it for a while, so I just decided to. So far it's not a favorite, but I still like it.

4. Me and my sister (with the help of Josh) watched a couple of girls today. They come over every Thursday afternoon for a few hours and we watch them. Although they're really sweet, I won't say they're not hard to keep up with. THEY. ARE. HYPER. Well, one of them is anyway.

5. We're having a family from church over for dinner tomorrow. They have two little girls that are so cute and sweet! I'm looking forward to tomorrow, not only because we're having company, but also because that means we'll be spending a good bit of the day cleaning and decluttering. We haven't given the house a good cleaning in a while, so it's gotten kind of dirty and messy.

And last but not least, I'll leave you with this picture:

Love and hugs to you all,
Haley

P.S. Do ya'll like my new background? I know I've changed it a lot lately, but I really like this one and promise I'll keep it for a while! :)

Photo Editing Fun with Picnik

I recently made myself an account on Picnik and have really had fun editing pictures on there. It's so neat what you can do, and I like how it's free! ;) Here are a few pictures I've edited with it:

Pirates of The Caribbean...Savvy?

My family and I have recently watched both The Curse of the Black Pearl and Dead Man's Chest for the first time. The only one left is At World's End. Right now Mom and my sisters are at the store getting it so we can watch it tonight! I can't wait to see it! :)

I don't know why it's taken us so long to watch them. I guess we just thought they were weird and never gave them a chance. We did the same thing with The Lord of the Rings trilogy. We were definitely mistaken about both. Greatly mistaken. I hate it when such good movies were in the movie theater and you never went to see them, then watch them a few years later and wished you had gone to see them. It would have been so cool to see both trilogies in the movie theater!

I didn't expect them to be so funny. I mean, really, some parts are hillarious! Jack is pretty smart in a really crazy and funny way. He's definitely my favorite character. ;)

It's kind of weird seeing Orlando Bloom play someone besides Legolas and Keira Knightley playing someone besides Elizabeth Bennet. Oh, and I thought it was really funny seeing Tom Hollander and Keira Knightley acting together in Dead Man's Chest. It reminded me of when they played Mr. Collins and Elizabeth Bennet in the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. :)

Okay, well, I better be going now! I hope y'all are having a great weekend!

A Funny Picture of Remy :)

A few months ago I took this funny picture of Remy. It's one of those that you couldn't get if you tried, you know? So anyway, I thought I'd share it with you! :)

He looks kind of mad at me for taking his picture, huh? Even with a scowl he's cute! ;)

Hope y'all are having a fabulous week!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Super Mom

Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
So gentle, yet so strong.
The many ways you show you care
Always make me feel I belong.

You're patient when I'm foolish;
You give guidance when I ask;
It seems you can do most anything;
You're the master of every task.

You're a dependable source of comfort;
You're my cushion when I fall.
You help in times of trouble;
You support me whenever I call.

I love you more than you know;
You have my total respect.
If I had my choice of mothers,
You'd be the one I'd select!

Thanks for being the wonderful Mom you are!! I love you so much!

Love,

1. My favorite old Disney movie is 101 Dalmations.

2. My favorite soundtrack right now is Facing The Giants.

3. I don't drink soft drinks unless we go to Sonic Happy Hour or to a restaurant or something.

4. Pop and Josh saw a fox in our front yard over the weekend. I wish I could have seen him, that would have been cool! :)
